episode 3. protected only on paper
coming soon
With 112 Marine Protected Areas on paper, it might seem like Scotland has its marine conservation efforts well in hand. Right? Unfortunately, these protections rarely go beyond the ink they’re written with—leaving these areas unmanaged and unregulated in practice. That’s where the alliance OurSeas steps in. Founded to drive real change, OurSeas is working relentlessly, fostering collaboration to ensure that what’s promised on paper becomes a reality in the water.
